Boring

I was there on this past Friday and Saturday nights. Very few people. On Friday there was video of Madona. On Saturday there was music but no video. No entertainment. The bartenders were indifferent those they didn't have much to do. Yes, the bar is beautiful, including the restrooms, and the location is premium, but there is nothing to do or look at., other than drink.

Love This place

This was the first place we went to on Friday night and it is much more classy, elegant and stylish than the reviews I read. Yes the drinks are a bit expensive, but the atmosphere is fantasic, the drinks are stupendous, the service is top notch and the entire staff is delightful, especially the charming hunky bear of a doorman. If you go to WeHo and you do not stop here for a drink you are making a mistake. We ended up back here on Saturday after running into Mr Angry at Motherlode and our bad memories just melted into our martinis. I highly recommend the Pink Panther Martini.

Fun corner bar with classy decor & friendly staff

This bar was refreshingly classy with great drink prices and a friendly staff. Nice to stop by after you grow tired of the thump-thump of the other bars and are looking for a more intimate place to chat. The staff was very attentive too! They really made you feel welcome.

Understand What Their Trying to Do Here.

I'm a gay businessman, who lives in Las Vegas, and I come into Weho periodically. I also happen to be a member of the E/W Lounge. Some folks have difficulty with this bar, because they think that it's just another saloon along with Micky's, Trunks, Cantina, Rage and the rest. It was designed for an older, more mature & monied, gay clientele. It sounds pretensious, but very many guys grow out of Micky's, et al. and are looking for a quieter place, that surrounds them in the ambience that they have become accustom too. A very great deal of modern day business is not contracted in high rise office buildings, but in more informal environments. Because of it's position, the Lounge provides for that kind of informality, where relationships can be established, and friendship enhanced. For folks that just mosy on in, the East/West might not come across as an everyday kind of guys place, but it serves a real purpose in the broader economy of West Hollywood. Certainly there are many young people who inhabit the East/West, and without them, the place would starve to death. Maturity & youth have a good mix at the East/West Lounge.
