i have no words to discribe Micky's, the best club in town, hot bartenders, HOOOTTTT gogo dancers, 2 f%¨* good areas to dance, definetely the best club in WeHo. i spend 5 nights in LA n i went to Mickys 4 nights in the road, i couldnt stop myself, one day, it was thusrday i didnt go there cause there were charging a cover, that why it was empty so i turn my way to another club.

A must visit

Micky's would have to be one of the best clubs to go to in WEHO. The bar staff are very friendly and service is exceptional. We ordered drinks and they arrived almost immediately. The music was great for those who like eye candy they have dancers. There is attention to detail in this bar as the place can get crowded but remains spotless including the bathrooms. Only downside is that the tend to let the hens night style crowd in which can be a bit irritating but only that. Go there it is a must visit.

Assaulted by straight Micky's employee

Last night, Sunday July 22, I was assaulted by an employee at Micky's. I was walking through the bar, along the side where the dancers perform, and a woman shoved me. I turned around and said, "excuse you," and asked why she pushed me. She began mouthing off to me and then the dancer she standing in front of leaned down and got involved. He began cussing me out and shouting at me. I told him that it didn't involve him and was between the woman and me. Security came over to find out what was going on and in that moment, the dancer reached down and slapped me across the face. The head of security was called over, he asked me to step outside with him to talk. When outstide, he told me that I was not going to be allowed back in the bar. He informed me that the woman is the gorlfriend of the dancer who assaulted me. I told him that I was going to call the police and file charges of battery against their employee. He said that the dancers are independent contactors and not employees of the bar and I had every right to call the police if that's what I chose to do. He also told me that I could speak to Aaron, the Bar Manager, if I wanted to but that he was not there last night and I would have to wait until Monday afternoon to call the bar after 5pm to talk to him. Obviously he doesn't understand that in California, any person who is contracted to do work at a place of business (whether it be temporary or permanent, independent contractor or direct hire) is a legal agent of that establishment and is considered an employee. I immediately contacted 911 to report the assault and the 911 Operater, Jackson, asked me to call back on the non-emergency line. I called her back and she told me it would be over an hour before they could get an officer to the bar. As I waited, the person in charge of the dancers came out and asked if I could point out to him which employee it was who assaulted me. I was allowed back in the bar, I pointed out the dancer who struck me and then escorted back outside. Apparently, no one wanted to fess up and tell who it was who had committed the assault, so they needed me to come back in and point him out. The Sheriff's deputies finally arrived at about 1:15am (incidentally, the Sheriff's department is directly across the street from Micky's) by which time the employee had already finished his shift and left the bar. The officer took my information, I gave her my report of the incident, she talked to the head of security and another person wearing a headset who I'm assuming was the Manager, and then let me know that she would be filing the report for battery and investigators would be talking to the employee. What really irritated me about this whole incident, aside from actually being assaulted by their employee, was that no one at anytime apologized to me for what had taken place. The head of security never apologized, the guy in charge of the dancers never apologized, no one did. I was completely disregarded, the staff made it very clear that they just didn't care about the customer. While I waited for the police, everytime a staff member came outside and saw that I was still standing there, they would immediately look away so as not to make eye contact with me. In my book, this is extremely disrespectful. When the police left, I even took it upon myself to go up to the person who I assumed was a Manager there and told him that it was nothing personal and that I wish it didn't have to come to that. He spoke at me (I say at me, because while we talked, he never looked me in the eye, he looked around me, over me, even when he offered his hand to shake he didn't look at me) and said it was no problem, but again never offered an apology for his employee's actions. I will never return to Micky's and I have informed all my family and friends who live in the area to do the same. The support I've received from friends, family and fellow veterans (yes I am a combat veteran of the Navy) has been overwhelming and I hope Micky's will take a second, more serious, look at who they hire.

almost every night at Mickys is a great time. The drinks are good depending on ur bar tender but a little expensive especially paying a cover too. The dancer depends on the night u go..lol!! i like it there.

All round great venue

Micky's is one of those few clubs that succeeds on just about every level. Strong drinks, friendly (and hot!) staff, great mixed crowd, great music and some of the best drag I've ever seen on Monday nights. Knocked off a star based on our last visit. Dancers are definitely not what they were a couple of years back! Still a great night out though.

Don't let the posh new look fool you. Mickey's is still as naughty and mischievous as it always was. Hot go-go dancers, good music, and a nice lounge. The after hour parties are particularly noteworthy.

Nice place to dance the night away

I went to Micky's on Tuesday night during Recess. The cover charge is 5 dollars which is inexpensive compare to other clubs. The shirtless bartenders are hot. The dance floor is smoky. The crowd is very diverse. The drink is awesome. I was having a great time until the gogo boys showed up. They are all twinks (very young and skinny). It is just not my cup of tea. Another unique thing about this club is the bathroom attendee. I found him interesting and creepy at the same time.

Thank God for its comeback. Skip the Abbey, just go here. Over the years, this place never changed, despite its renovation. Men of all ages are here. Yes there are beautiful and ugly people come here, but that's the whole point. The diversity is amazing. I hope the Abbey closes so people will just come here. (note: I only dislike the Abbey now because since its new owner/management from 2 years ago, it has become more sketchy and more ghetto.)

This place is a lot of fun. Good drinks that aren't too pricey, spacious, and nice atmosphere. I do wish the dancefloor was larger and had a better lighting setup. RAGE down the street blows this dancefloor out of the water. I wish there was more seating as well. There's not that much outside and I really wish they had bar stools or chairs as there's not seating anywhere around the massive bar. I've seen many hot guys here and the bartenders are unbelievably HOT! It's a place definitely worth going to.

Not What I Expected

I had really high hopes for Micky's after reading reviews here and visiting their website. While it was not a negative visit and the doorman was absolutely sweet and charming to us, it was not what I would call a "lounge" in any way, shape or form. It was Friday after 9pm and the upstairs was not open and there was not a chair in the building. I don't mean a chair to sit on, I mean a chair at all! What lounge has no seating? Everyone was having a great time, the atmosphere was upbeat and I was able to get to the bar and get drinks rather quickly. While I was up at the bar several men had approached the lady I was with and questioned our availability. While I have never shied away from attention, the vibe was a little too pressured for our tastes. Not being familiar with the WeHo clubs, it may be that this is the reputation of Micky's and if you are into the "meat" market theme, this may be your place. We had one drink and left going next door to Fiesta Cantina.

I want to love it

When Micky's (re-)opened, I was very excited for a stylish, open-aired club. Every time I walk by, the place is packed and the crowd is having a good time. But when I go with my friends, it's never great. The go-go boys are hot, but full of themselves. The dance floor is going, but the music and the crowd usually don't match up. The drinks are good, but expensive. On the plus side, there's some great people watching, but again, you can find better elsewhere.

I enjoy going to Mickey's. They have hot bartenders and great theme nights. I went during a recent Rupaul's Drag Race event and got to meet some of the contestants and then see the live show with Raven as the host. While the drinks are a bit pricy, it is a great place to hang out and watch the neighborhood boys!

Much improved over the last time

I haven't been in Micky's in maybe 10 years, I like what they have done with the place, modern cool colors, nice patio, very friendly staff and down to earth patrons. Happy hour is reasonable and a great deal, patio for cruising the strip and upstairs on Thursday's you can drink the the stars (porn stars that is), hot men in briefs!

This is a really happening bar in a really hot location on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. Drinks are on the expensive side. The bartenders are HOT and the GoGo Boys are HOTTER!

Stopped in for lunch the other day. It became very apparent that the owners need some sort of help from people that have experience in the food industry. My friend had the Turkey Burger and I had the regular burger. Both were fine, but I found that the wait staff needed a bit more training. Our server came across like it was his first waiter job. I observed him standing over one of his other tables that were preparing to pay their bill and stood there watching the customer fiddle with his cash. That's very rude. I found it very unusual that they do not serve Ice Tea. What's up with that? That is a standard drink option anywhere...especially for lunch. They also served the burgers with a dressing already spread on the bun. I had to ask for a bun without the dressing. Also they need to change the tables. Whatever the tables that they have now are made of, they soak up the sun rays and you could walk away from lunch with third degree burns on your arms. I think if I want lunch again in the Weho area, I'd just go back to The Abbey.

Micky's (West Hollywood) Now Open

It's been a long wait for Micky's to re-open after the fire. Official re-opening was Friday, April 17, 2009. I've been a regular patron for many years back. Sunday night (DECADE) has always been my favorite night there. Great music and dancing. Fun to hang with friends there. Went on 4/19/09 and had a blast, although there were a couple things they need to work on (still after all this time). If there was any A/C in the dance floor area, you couldn't tell - uncomfortably hot. And there should be no drinking on the dance floor - broken glass and slippery floor from spilled drinks is not a good thing. The place has been packed each night since the opening and so far, looks like they will continue to do well.
