My goodness, does every gay bar have to cater to the young. I was going to the Numbers in the 70's, on Sunset, (when I was young) and I'm going to the Numbers now. All of these young people who complain about the Numbers, and the gentlemen of certain age, that inhabit the place, need to understand that we are the people who have succeeded in our lives & professions, and have, thank God, survived the plague of HIV/AIDS, and look, as hard as we might, for a bar/restaurant, that does not shun us, but imbraces us, as a mainstay of their business. Gee, what a concept. It's the misfortune of young men that they will one day be sitting at the Numbers bar, from 11:30 on, wondering - am I good enough? Yes, I most certainly am!!

What a bunch of clueless reviews - you bunch of hicks don't know an original experience when you have one. Great chef, amazingly different atmosphere (where else can you see this kind of bar), and the nicest, best trained waiters in town. And cocktails like no one else knows how to make...

I came here for a birthday party last weekend. It was raining outside and cold. As soon as I walked in, the older hostess practically yelled at me to close the door as I stepped inside. It was pretty loud and when I asked for my party, she asked me why I was screaming at her. I swear I wasn't. From the inauspicious beginning, it just went downhill. While I admit the place was nicely decorated, the food was cold and plain awful and the cocktails were incredibly overpriced. If I wanted to spend $100 on a meal, I would expect great food. What I got was bad food. And yes I agree with the other posters. They are plenty of below average looking men there.

This is the type of place that you go to when you get a fat bonus and feel like spending money. It's classy all the way as opposed to Rage or Elleven that is more focused on flashy and loud. This place is subdued and mature. The staff is beautiful and quite courteous and the atmosphere is very elegant.

Totally differently vibe definitely filled with some oldies not sure where the hotties are? Did not get a chance to try the food yet so can't comment on the new chef. Maybe if it was in closer to the rest of the clubs and it wasn't on a second level it would fair better. That building needs a major face lift and the elevator sucks!! Waiting on the piano it says piano bar but have never seen a piano in the place.
