WeHo institution attracts an 18+ crowd
Two-level Rage sits proudly in the middle of West Hollywood on Santa Monica Blvd. You'll find a younger crowd with boys and girls paying the cover to bop to the pop/dance remix fare. See and be seen on the patio out front or go inside to enjoy the videos and dance floor.

It's the place to go on a Friday night if you like a little asian flavor. The music is pretty good, always playing the latest stuff. The boys and bartenders are definitely good looking. Downstairs plays mostly Pop, upstairs I think is Hip Hop or House. Overall, a fun and lively place on the weekends.

I've travelled a lot throughout the U.S. and Rage on fridays (GameBoi) wins the prize for the most concentration of young asian bois (18+) that I've ever seen. I live in the neighborhood and have been going here the last few years, and a friend of mine has been used as one of their models for publicity. And for us white admirers - it's good news that many of them are not "sticky rice". On most fridays the place could be a show on Oprah - "young asian boys and the older white guys who like them". However, one important note of caution - the urban legend is there's some boys under 18 who get in with fake IDs... so be careful...

Gameboi Friday night is the best pop, hip-pop dance night in town.. 18+ with cute boys.. Drinks from $5-12, but it's much stronger than those small bars.. If you're looking for a place for great music/dance.. This is where you want to be.. gameboila.com

Nice place, open bar, nice patio area on facing Blvd, great music, Latin night (Fuego) is agreat night to visit. The men are quite stunning. Go with a friend or partner and make them your focus however if you want to avoid any attitude. Drinks can be expensive compared to other bars we have visited. Overall nice decor and nice bar.

Rage's "Gameboi" venue (on Fridays) is a ton of fun for those who like to dance to Top 40 / Pop & today's most popular Dance / Electronica Hits (like me :^D). Rage's Friday crowd tends to be on the uber young side w/ several 30-something-year-old jailbait fans sprinkled into the mix ;^P. The flat plasma TV screens hanging from the walls either play music videos of the songs currently being played by the club's DJ or music vids of other remixed pop / dance music that one can usually only find either on YouTube or Daily Motion.
