When to go?
I tried this bar a few times when I was in LA but it was always empty. I've been there after a day at the beach, I tought it was a good time but no... :( When should I go?
Friendly neighborhood bar
My friend and I visited this bar last night and enjoyed the $3.00 margaritas great bar tenders Mike early and Gary later. Friendly patron regulars!
A Great Welcome
We visited the 'Fish in Feb 10, for the first time, and as two Brits we were made very welcome by the hunky barman. We had a great afternoon, and will be going back to say hello in October 11
Only Gay Bar in West LA
If you live in West LA and don't want to drive seven miles (about 30 minutes) to West Hollywood, this is the place to go. If you like classy, this is NOT the place for you. There's no lounge area, but there are plenty of beer bottle boxes to sit on! Good place to hang out, have a drink and shoot some pool. The patio does close early, which was disappointing but most people just smoke in the parking lot area. Once in a while you'll get a group of college guys from the nearby colleges or universities. Otherwise, the crowd is mixed older, younger, and maybe a few straight people. The drinks were more expensive than I expected, about $8-10. Make sure you hit the ATM beforehand cause it's CASH ONLY.
