One of the legends of the dance music world, DJ Escape has racked up more accomplishments than most spinners aspire to in a lifetime: global residencies at some of the world’s largest nightclubs, original productions that got the attention of world-class disc jockeys and remixes for legendary superstars such as Beyoncé, Donna Summer, Solange, Kristine W and Gwen Stefani—and he’s just getting started.

Escape was already a well-known DJ in the hip-hop world, most associated with his mentor DJ Skribble, when he got his first exposure to house music at a night at New York's Palladium with superstar Junior Vasquez. The gay crowd's appreciation for sets filled with music you couldn't hear anywhere else opened up an entirely new world for Escape. This inspired him in the studio to create what would be his first blistering original hard house production, the now classic "Wer*Ship" that thrust him into clubland's spotlight nationally.

Escape was soon helming the DJ booth at the most popular gay clubs, and his reputation for knowing the hottest sounds landed him the A&R Coordinator position at New York's famed Groovilicious/Strictly Rhythm record label. There, Escape became known as a prodigy of sorts who knew a future hit when he heard it. Escape was also the mixer on the popular dance mix CD series "Partytime 2001" thru "Partytime 2005" which elevated him to prominence among casual dance music consumers worldwide, as well as later releasing mix CDs in the "Ultimate Afterhours," "Circuit Party" and "Global Groove" compilation series.

Escape also has created multiple hit studio productions of his own, sometimes teaming with the likes of industry heavy-hitters like Razor & Guido, Eddie Baez, Tony Coluccio, Junior Vasquez, Dom Capello and Johnny Vicious. In addition, his many official remixes for such pop and dance music stars as Deborah Cox, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, Beyonce, Selena Gomez, Michelle Williams, Erika Jayne, Hillary Duff, Kim English, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Rowland, Idina Menzel, Justin Timberlake, Lindsay Lohan, Donna Summer and many more than can be named have made Escape a major part of house music's history.

Wherever he is, if you are on Escape's dance floor, you'll know it. This world famous DJ and producer creates a signature sound that is unforgettable. Even when he plays the hits, he plays them in a way that you haven't heard before. His appearance at Primetime will be an extremely rare chance to hear this legendary driving force behind house music, back in Los Angeles after a long absence.

Those who have gotten to hear up-and-coming DJ Joshua D are frequently surprised at the maturity of his ability to weave together an intense deep and tribal style. Heavy drums and Latin flare from his Miami roots are ever-present in his sets. His skill at programming a seamless musical journey rivals far more experienced DJs in the genre.

Joshua D has traveled the world, playing parties in cities as far-ranging as London, Miami, New York and Beijing. He has played Twist in Miami several times, and has been featured as a DJ at Haze in Beijing. This year, he played Quiksilver's Quik Sessions, an official WMC (Winter Music Conference) 2012 event, as well as the annual GAPSN (Gay Asian Pacific Support Network) Oasis Pool Party. His appearance at Primetime will be this Miami native's first-ever club performance in Los Angeles.
