In addition to his stellar recordings as a leader, (several of which include bassist Jennifer Leitham), he is known for long time associations with Toshiko Akiyoshi, Nat Adderley, Johnny Griffin, Bill Allred, Johnny Mandel, Bill Holman, Bob Florence and Clare Fischer. As a vocalist, he’s been a member of The Pied Pipers and is music director and sings with The Modernaires.He currently is performing with spouse Ginger Berglund in their acclaimed singing duo, Ginger and Scott. Scott and Jennifer are current members of both The Stan Kenton Alumni Band and the Johnny Mandel Big Band.
