MEET AT:
Near the Heal The Bay registration table on the sand next the first parking lot near Spoke 'n Stuff Bike rental shop. When you get to the registration table, you are going to have to cross the bike path. PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE BIKE PATH! Free drinking water, sunscreen and raffle prizes at the registration table.
This site is located near LAX landing pad! We get to see the big airplanes take off and land!!
WHAT WE'LL DO AT COASTAL CLEANUP DAY:
- First, we all register, fill-out forms and receive training
- They'll provide gloves, trash pick-up sticks, bags
- Pick up every bit of human-made debris you can find, and record what you remove.
- Return your trash and your data card to the site captain by 11:30 a.m. after the cleanup to be weighed and counted.
- You'll be amazed by how much is accomplished in just 3 hours of one day!
PLEASE BRING:
- A smile to liven up the morning
- Sunblock, hat, comfy shoes, hand sanitizer, sun glasses
