Hi All -
Because of the crowds and congestion in the team meeting area, APAIT decided to meet at the Pavilions' parking lot between 8:45a and 9:00a, and walk over to the Opening Ceremony.
Google Maps: http://goo.gl/maps/2WMZE
Pavilions is located on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Robertson and the Opening Ceremony is the next block down (Santa Monica and San Vicente)
Here's the schedule for the day:
9:15 Opening Ceremony
10A Walk Begins
The walk normally takes about 2 hours, less if you choose to run. If we can get to the front of the line, we can probably finish in under 2 hours.
I will probably get to the area around 8 and that's only because once the streets close, it can be a challenge to find parking and then of course, there's traffic....
With that said, I've included a link to day of event information. You'll find information on street closures, transportation and parking, a venue map, and the route map.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me. You can also call me at (310) 292-0005.
Thanks again and see you all on Sunday!
