Getting the Word OUT: Sharing LGBTQ Stories in the Media

An informative panel discussion, moderated by GLAAD's Wilson Cruz, that will highlight the stories behind the media’s stories of LGBTQ people and issues. Panelists: • Faith Cheltenham, President of BiNet USA • Ari Gutierrez, Founding Co-Chair of the Latino Equality Alliance • Jim Key, Chief Public Affairs Officer at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center • Eileen Ma, Executive Director of API-Equality Los Angeles The panel will be followed by a dessert reception in the courtyard. $5 suggested donation benefits the NLGJA-LA scholarship fund.
