Courtney Act, the most beautiful man in the world, brings women to their feet and men to their knees, but she's not like other girls. In this show, the RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6 contestant divulges the fascinating and always hysterical dirty laundry of her sex life.
There's that angry text from that straight boys girlfriend, the twins in Montreal, and the US Marine, to name a few of the titilating tales she'll be telling. This is Courtney’s observation of living life on the gender divide, sometimes as a boy, sometimes as a girl, her journey through masculinity and femininity, and how it manifests when boys like her. It is a must see for boys like you…and girls too.
Once upon a time, Sydney boy Shane Jenek tried out for Australian Idol. Not quite making the cut he wasn’t discouraged, Shane bent the rules and his gender, returning the next day as Courtney Act, and made it through to the finals. Courtney’s explosive, energetic performance style, coupled with her joyous personality sent audiences wild. With performances of “You Don’t Own Me”, “W.O.M.A.N” and “You Shook Me All Night Long”, the country was mesmerised and Australia had a slightly new, slightly less conventional sweetheart.
Hot on the high heels of the TV series came the phenomenally successful sell-out Australian Idol Arena Tour followed by a record deal with BMG Records which saw Courtney release “Rub Me Wrong”, a film clip and Top 30 chart single
Courtney exposed her talents as a writer for NW, TV Week, DNA Magazine and as a social reporter for Sydney’s Daily Telegraph. The readers of FHM magazine voted her as one of The World’s Sexiest Women, New York’s Out Magazine awarded her as one of the World’s Most Influential People. She has toured the world with her one-woman show working in London, Ibiza, New York, Las Vegas, LA, Hong Kong and the Seychelles.
Recently Courtney moved to Los Angeles and had been featured on TV and web series including Good Day LA, Transfashionable, Are You There Chelsea and Only In America. She also returned to Australia to be a guest on Channel 10’s I Will Survive. Courtney has interviewed Bette Midler, and recently performed at Lady Gaga’s private birthday party, for Cher, and most recently, at Fergie & Josh Duhamel’s private “gaby” shower.
