FAME The Ultimate Karaoke/Singing Competition in LA ! New Venue, New Competition, New Format, only 5 weeks. Sundays at 7pm CELEBRITY JUDGES ! Audience Votes ( along with Judges scores ) at the Semi's and the Finals determine who wins $1000 Cash. This is a Singing ( Karaoke ) competition . Soloists Only. Eleven Nightclub is the host venue where the competition takes place. 8811 Santa Monica Blvd. West Hollywood Ca. 90069 5 Sundays at 7pm . The prizes for this round are... 1st place = $500. 2nd place = $300. 3rd place= $200 All prizes are paid in cash. Here is how it all works… Only Two chances to Qualify. Qualifying Rounds - Sunday June 15th 7pm & Sunday June 22nd. Judges scores alone determine who moves on to Semi-Finals You must qualify to compete. Sunday June 15th - 8:30pm- Qualifying Round Sunday June 22nd- 7pm- Qualifying Round Sunday June 29th- 7pm- Semi-Finals Sunday July 6th - 7pm- Semi-Finals ( those who qualify will compete in only 1 of the two Semi-Finals ) Sunday July 13th- 7pm- FINALS. Winners are awarded their Cash prizes. Space is limited and only the top scoring contestants from each of the two Qualifying Rounds will move on to the Semi-Finals. Tip- Come out and compete on the first Qualifying Round. If you do not Qualify on the first night you can come back the following week and compete to Qualify. There is a $15 Sign up fee on each Qualifying Round. Contestants who Qualify will not have to pay anymore fees or cover charges for the duration of the competition . There is no cover charge on Qualifying Rounds for audience members! So invite your friends to come out and support you! Audience members votes and judges scores are combined on Semi-finals and Finals. There is a $8 Cover Charge for audience members who wish to participate in the voting process. NO Cover Charge for audience members to come out and see the show! Finals will be July 13th 7pm. Contestants will be awarded their cash prizes that night. FAME voting process is different from other competitions. It is NOT just a popularity contest. Talent makes a difference! The audience members who choose to participate in the voting process must vote for more than one contestant in order for their ballots to be valid. The voting process is unique to FAME and insures that this is not just a popularity contest. Process will be explained each night of competition. In the event of a tie, the judges will cast the deciding vote. All FAME employees and management as well as the staff and management of the venue will not be eligible to vote. There will be a panel of judges to critique each performance and give constructive criticism. ( fyi- There are no "Simons" ) Judges are respectful and courteous to all contestants. The judges will score the contestants on their performances. There is a $15.00 sign-up fee for contestants on the 2 qualifying nights only. Once you qualify you will not pay any more fees for the duration of the competition. Most of the performances will be filmed in HD and posted on the FAME facebook fanpage.
