In Loving Memory of Marilyn LaGrone-Amaral April 3, 1945 – November 8, 2014 Memorial Service Saturday, February 28, 2015, 12:30 p.m. Nishi Hongwanji Betsuin (LA Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple) 815 East 1st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 We request that light colored clothing be worn Celebration of Life Reception to follow immediately after at 2028 E. 1st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90033 There will be an altar for Marilyn and Family ancestors at the Life Reception, you are welcome to bring something to place on it. There will also be a place for letters on the altar, if you are interested in writing Marilyn a note (these will not be read out loud, or shared) Suggested Altar Offerings · Marilyn's favorite foods · stones · shells · fruit · honey · letters · flowers · plants · bells · pictures Marilyn was a profoundly talented and beautiful artist. She suddenly passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 due to natural causes. We are honored to have had the privilege of her presence as a friend, artist, mentor, and supporter. She is greatly missed but her creative spirit will be forever with us. All who had the great fortune to cross paths with her in this lifetime were touched by her love, her laughter and the joy she had for the creative process. She left a powerful legacy.
