Power and Persistence: Grassroots Activists and Musicians in L.A.

The photo exhibit, co-organized by Venice Arts and Liberty Hill Foundation, documents the power and persistence of L.A. communities through portraits by Warren Hill. For the past several years, he has been photographing grassroots members of social justice organizing groups in Los Angeles and also of jazz and blues musician performing in and around Los Angeles. Photos from these grassroots organizations will be featured: Pacoima Beautiful Brothers, Sons, Selves.
