The bike path along 15 miles from Santa Monica to Hermosa Beach takes you through some of the most beautiful colorful beach towns anywhere. We will stop for lunch at Hennessey's Tavern (8 Pier Avenue) or other restaurant in Hermosa Beach courtyard between 12:30pm and 1:00pm. Food is fabulous and affordable. You may shop, eat, rest, and entertain other friends at the courtyard. The path at Hermosa Beach will be crowded due to highest spirits of 4th of July but fun to ride through the crowd.
The beach boys and girls will wear American flag bikini and shorts. This is gong to be a fun day to meet new and old friends.
Meet us at the large Santa Monica parking lot on the right side between 9:30am to 9:45am prior to our departure at 10:00am. If you miss, you may catch up with us on the way to Hermosa Beach, follow the bike path and spot us signing. Good luck.
If you don't have a bike, you can rent them near the pier. Come early to get good bikes at the rental shop. Note: parking fee is $10-$15 for the day or you may find a parking space for free at the residence street farther from the pier approx 1-2 miles away.
