Love Wins with Jim Obergefell, Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo
Santa Monica Public Library, in partnership with the ONE Gay & Lesbian Archives Foundation, are honored to welcome civil rights pioneers Jim Obergefell, Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo for a discussion of their landmark Supreme Court cases that won marriage equality for Californians in 2013 and all Americans in 2015. Jim also discusses his new book, Love Wins, a chronicle of his life with husband Jim Arthur and their unexpected path towards history. David Cruz, star of TV's Millionaire Matchmaker and founder of Finding Cupid, introduces the event, and Wilson Cruz, award-winning actor and civil rights activist, moderates the discussion. A book sale and signing follows. Program is free. Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis.
