Janet Robin
A childhood student of Randy Rhoads, guitarist for Quiet Riot and Ozzy Osborne, Janet has played guitar all her life. In the 80’s, she played in the all-girl band Precious Metal, then went on to tour for years with Lindsey Buckingham, followed by Air Supply and Meredith Brooks, among others. Janet was Jennifer Jason Lee's guitar coach in "The Hateful Eight," and founded instrumental guitar ensemble, The String Revolution. A solo artist in her own right, Janet has produced seven albums and played on many others. Her most recent solo effort, "Take Me As I Am,” came out just this month. –www.janetrobin.com
Jennifer Jane Leitham
A long-time performer with Mel Torme and Doc Severenson, among a storied list of jazz legends, Jennifer's acoustic and electric bass skills have made their way onto over 125 recordings, including ten of her own. She performs regularly with her ace trio and her most recent album, "Mood Swings,” was released just last year. Jennifer is also the subject of an award winning documentary, "I Stand Corrected," the story of her transition from John to Jennifer Leitham in 2001. Patsy has been widely recognized for her uniquely artful voice. Her award-winning, critically acclaimed work as a singer-songwriter-poet reaches back over two decades. Mar's style on guitar is versatile and eclectic, forged in LA's renowned Musician's Institute, and refined through years of playing for major artists and West Coast bands.
And that’s not all… we have special guest performances in store!
Each of our featured artists will tell their story of getting into music, and play a selection from their latest work. The artists will also be on hand for CD signings and photo ops!
And as always, our house band – featuring Laurie Geltman on guitar, Jeanne McGraw on electric violine and Samantha Korshin on drums and percussion – will be keeping the mood fresh and festive during the event.
