LA Pride Guide

Come out to the always-hopping gay promised land of West Hollywood and experience the veritable multitude of eye candy that is tinsel town. The festival is open from noon-midnight on June 13th and 11am-10pm on the 14th on San Vicente between Santa Monica and Melrose. The theme this year, “Pride 365: Power. Passion. Purpose,” might mean the capitol of flesh is fishing in deeper waters this year, but you can still expect to find all the good natured hedonism and first rate entertainment that make this bash the pleasure it is. The parade steps off on the 14th at 11am from Santa Monica and Crescent and marches through the dry Southern California heat to Robertson Blvd. Comedic grand marshal Chelsea Handler and her diminutive sidekick Chuy will be there to entertain and cheer on the throngs.
