It's hard to describe what I really love about Bossa Nova. It's the exact opposite of formal. Rustic and worn, maybe, but in a good way? The sandwiches and pasta dishes are unusual and really delicious. The atmosphere is VERY casual. The waitstaff is friendly and kinda sexy. And the location is so convenient to all the hot stuff in West Hollywood. I'd definitely go back!

when you are not sure where to eat in weho, bossa nova is the default perfect place. the food is always tasty and inexpensive, and on a warm evening the outdoor seating is a great place to watch the gay boys up and down and around santa monica blvd. when you are done, head across the street to the abbey for more boy watching and some delicious (if expensive) cocktails.

Great Brazilian food. The black bean soup is fantastic and the pizza is my favorite. There is also a larger location in Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood. Prices are very reasonable by LA standards.

I liked this restaurant a lot. The food was good and the staff was nice and cute. The service was a little slow, but it was also packed with people. Its a good location, tons of bars and clubs right around the corner.

A great place to get some really good food, accross street from the Abbey. We went in the afternoon and the seating area is inside. You walk thru prep area for waiters to your tables which are painted in different colors. Decorated nicely, friendly and fast staff. Menu is vast, it was hard to pick one thing to settle on. Definitely a great find, we will visit this place more than once.
So, what do you say?
