Pure Luck

This small pub serves amazing vegetarian food mostly to hip bicyclists and community college students (it's located across from LA Community College). The house specialty is jackfruit "carnitas" -- a meat substitute made from a pineapple relative that has a wonderful texture and is well seasoned. The sandwiches, burritos and homemade chips are accompanied by an excellent assortment of brews on tap, including some exciting microbreweries.
