The place to be seen in WeHo

The large complex of indoor and outdoor areas has multiple bars, a plethora of candles, large fireplaces and comfy booths to enjoy sophisticated mixed drinks. Expect large weekend crowds.

Exclusive, Crowded, & All walks of Life

I just think of the Abbey as a mini-WeHo that attracts people for all walks of life in LA. Exclusively gay yes, but there are those heteros that crash into the place, screaming "Get off me! Don't touch my ass!" like they belong there for crazy-ass reason or celebrities that reserve the back lounge for themselves, sipping on their high martinis and blocked by the velvet cords and bodyguards. What money can buy in this place. Thirsty? Well, u can go the inside bar to have a gay pornstar serve u up a cocktail or two. But that's have after u get thru the sea of sweaty people that are caked together in sweat and dance. Well, need some air, just go to the outside open bar to chill w/ur friends to chat about the hordy crowd. Yeah, so u came past 11pm on a Fri or Sat night, so what? Well, that's cool, but this place gets packed quick so beware. If ur coming to this place on Pride week, God be w/u cause, this place looks like an ant mound covered with gay men all over the building and spilling into the streets, and u ain't never seen soooo many gay men in one long ass sitting of a line to get in.

i take everyone from out of town to the abby

I've goin to the abby since it was accross the street from where it is now. I love the vibe and openess of the space. I can go there by myslf and always run into someone I know...or want to know....grin great drinks nice people, though I do think that the quality of their food has dropped a noche in the past years, I would still reccomend it

Danced till I couldn't dance anymore!

Had such a ball her. The place is beautiful, the music kicking and the crowd high end and high energy. Now I know why Dennis Rodman was there on the dancefloor too!
