The Abbey Food & Bar

The place to be seen in WeHo

The large complex of indoor and outdoor areas has multiple bars, a plethora of candles, large fireplaces and comfy booths to enjoy sophisticated mixed drinks. Expect large weekend crowds.

WeHo Mainstay

Ovet the past 20 years, the Abbey has grown from a neighborhood coffee shop to one of the gay standards in LA. Incredibly crowded most nights, I prefer to enjoy the venue for weekend brunch or early evening dinner with friends. Drink prices are a common complaint, though I've also been told the cocktails there are VERY good (I dont drink, so I cant weigh in on this). The lack of a dancefloor is unfortunate, as their DJs are often better than some of the local dance clubs' and their go-go boys (when they have them) are unimpressive and redundant to the space--with the amount of eye candy here, go-go boys are largely unnecesary.

Fun, Lively Spot with Great Food, Too

DC could use a place like this. Very surprised to have a super dinner while enjoying all the eye-candy. Really a place for everyone. Great music, expansive patio seating, friendly service, no attitude. A great place to kick-start an evening in West Hollywood.

A nice casual place to hang out with Friends

Abbey is a nice casual place to hang out with friends and have drinks, grab dinner, etc. The music is good and it has nice energy. We would enjoy it more if it had a dance floor for later in the evening, but it's definitely a great place to check out. Food is reasonable and good, something you don't always find when you travel and have "gay dining".
