Friendliest Neighborhood Bar in L.A.

Gay owned and operated on Santa Monica Bl. since 1981. It's been the best all around bar from day 1. Don't miss it.

When you get the chance.

Check this bar out! It's one of those neighborhood bars that is almost perfect in many ways. Friendly staff, patrons, and a kick back atmosphere. Drinks are strong and not pricey. Great place to go after work if you are walking.

No frills, no attitude...

The Gold Coast is the epitomy of a good neighborhood bar. Strong drinks at a fair price, friendly bartenders, very active pool table and video games. Brand new LCD TV's usually tuned to a local sports game or news. Only drawback is the alley behind the bar has its share of hustlers and druggies that can sometimes cause a disturbance. Otherwise, a great place to spend an afternoon or evening.

come here, but lose the attitude

This is a place I visited a lot when I was down south. It is vey friendly. The bartenders are very hot(this is still LA, after all) Go there for the Sunday beer bash. You won't be disappointed.
