Ran from Santa Monica pier to Venice pier. Lots of looks and eye candy along the way. The record low temps kept most muscle heads away and most where dressed in jackets with hats. lol This kind of temperature is a warm summer evening in Vancouver.

Quirky, different and a fun place to people watch

Muscle beach has been a draw for many years at Venice Beach, dare if you will to play among the "Big Boys". It would be a waste to not venture up and down the boardwalk and see all the items for sell, the normal and not so normal folks you'll encounter. Weekends can get quite crowded and parking can be a challenge to find.

The weight pen is in the open air, outdoors, and anyone can work out there for $10 per day. Lots of eye candy all around the area, the gymnastics area, and the sand. Right on the Venice Boardwalk, which in itself is a very popular tourist and local favorite.
