Holiday LGBTQ New Media Mixer, with Meatball

Let's Build and Scheme Machine Studios invite you to our Holiday LGBTQ New Media Mixer on Thursday, December 14th, 2017. Special guest M.C. Meatballl! (Dragula Season 1 Fan Favorite) Join us to celebrate the holiday season and kiki with other LGBTQ new media and creative / entertainment professionals! More than 40% of homeless youth identify as LGBTQ. We'll be accepting gift donations for My Friend's Place, a local nonprofit drop-in resource center in Hollywood offering a comprehensive continuum of care, health, educational, and therapeutic services to nearly 1,400 youth experiencing homelessness and their children each year. Gift donations needed for the holidays include: - Hoodies (all adult sizes) - Sleeping Bags - Earbuds/headphones (not expensive ones! Like $10 pairs) - $10 grocery gift cards (Vons, Ralphs, Target) - $10 fast food gift cards (Subway, Chipotle, Starbucks) - Backpacks - Movie tickets (ArcLight, AMC, Regal) Svedka cocktails, wine, beer and festive treats will be provided. Street parking is available on the surrounding streets, but Uber / Lyft is highly encouraged.
