The Huntington is both a nature and art lovers' dream with a grand library, three art galleries and 120 acres of garden that host 14,000 different species of plants. Stroll around, take a tour, but be sure to take a seating of tea time in the Rose Garden.

We have visited here several times. Always love the exhibits and the floral/botanical gardens. Great place to spend several hours. Nice restaurant as well. VERY artsy! and always see and meet very eclitic people.

The Huntington is a lot of things. It's a library, an art museum and a beautiful botanical garden. You can spend hours here, strolling through the gardens and just taking in the lovely quiet ambience of the place. Take a look inside the charming Rose Garden Tea Room, even if you don't treat yourself to the traditional English tea, complete with scones and finger sandwiches and cheeses and petits-fours. The art museum section is small, but has a couple of famous Gainsborough paintings that are worth a look. I've been here 3 times, and my favorite thing to do is just walk through the beautiful gardens--the visit is worth it just for that!
