Los Angeles LGBT Center and Come What May Productions proudly present a special FREE screening of the highly acclaimed short feature film directed by Darwin Serink and hosted reception.
Praised as a "beautifully filmed and tragic story, based on real life events, about freedoms here that carry the death penalty elsewhere," ABAN + KHORSHID recounts the tragic true story of two Iranian teenagers who were hanged in 2005 for the crime of being gay.
After the screening, Center CEO Lorri L. Jean will facilitate a discussion with the film's producer, Tommee May and director, Darwin Serink.
Following the discussion, a hosted reception will be held in the courtyard of the Center's Village at Ed Gould Plaza.
