“My vision for ARTOPIA this year continues and expands on the theme of interactivity, immersion, and experience that animated the 2014 edition -- but this year, with a little more peace and love in the mix. Along with the return of favorites like Bohemian Society’s edgy live body-painting textiles performance, and Debi Cable’s Instagram-breaking 3D Art Gallery, ARTOPIA invites a cast of engaging, beauty-obsessed installation and performance artists and progressive video programmers to celebrate the release of the Weekly’s People Issue by genuinely showing our love for the people. Setting the audio atmosphere for a night of hosted bars, botanical stimulation, appreciation of the human body, and the magic of art being made before your eyes will be the one and only Jeremy Sole -- friend of all things beautiful, and so much more than just your favorite DJ.” - Shana Nys Dambrot
In its third year, Artopia take place at The Container Yard and will feature live art, music, fashion, artisanal cocktails and food trucks.
