It’s with hat in hand and a heavy heart that Trapeze has had to cancel our Golden Regale New Year’s Eve event in Los Angeles this year. In lieu of the recent tragic warehouse fire in Oakland, there has been a very serious nation-wide municipal backlash on underground venues -- in our case, this poses too great a financial and logistical risk to both the Syrup Loft as a venue and ourselves as producers. Therefore, both entities have agreed to pull the plug. Trapeze is extremely humbled and heartbroken over this outcome, as naturally we were super jazzed to spend new year’s eve with our LA family and all of the splendor that Trapeze is, but unfortunately there was no predicting the introduction of a set of such massively unfavorably variables into our scheme of things. Our apologies for the financial and logistical impact and the significant twist on your new year’s eve plans that this presents.
