Umai Sushi (West Hollywood location)

Of all the restaurants conveneintly located on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood, this is the only one I steer visitors away from. It's expensive, the rolls are known to fall apart, and the fish is not always the most fresh. As an alternative, if you're willing to go for a short 10 minute drive south on la cienega towards the Beverly Center, I would HIGHLY recommend Ronin (www.roninizakaya.com). It's Fresh asian tapas - unique, wonderful, some of the best food I've ever tested in L.A.
