Awesome space, great food.
Really love the space here, and seems within the last year or so they are really getting it together from a promotions standpoint. Any food I have had here is really good, try the appetizers for $5 during happy hour, YUM! Beautiful bar, friendly staff. Country night on Wed is fun, hope it sticks around though the crowd has gone down. Mon their musical showtunes night is popular. Fri and Sat nights the dancing upstairs is fun, usually have great DJ's. Often can get in with no cover or minimal cover, which is nice on weekends.
Musical Mondays
Musical Mondays at ELEVEN is the current version of the piano bars of the 1970’s, where young performers and the old men who supported them would hang out. At ELEVEN the musical theater crowd is fun and they thoroughly enjoy the videos from old movies, past award shows and TV shows from the 50’s, to now. What’s fun about Musical Mondays is the fact that many of the patrons in the bar are probably doing shows around town, so they really appreciate the musical numbers being shown and a lot of the people in the videos are sitting around you in the bar as well. If you don’t like standing all night get there early. The second half of Musical Mondays, the guys on the mic and the live musical numbers are hit or miss. That might be the time to go out for a late supper or more drinks across the street. Over all I would say this is the best place to be on a Monday night in WeHo.
Musical Mondays
Musical mondays (barrowed from the legendary NYC version) puts a LA spin on bustin out your musical theater videos. Crowd is fun and gets into it. Get there early or you might be standing all night. The live musical acts are a great time to check out the bathrooms. But i would say its the most fun for a five dollar cover charge in weho on a monday (if you are a wif and poof, a tigher tone or just love anything with singing and dancing!
Nice stop on the WeHo crawl
I've been here on Friday nights, and they really pack in the crowd. It gets to the point where you're squeezing past people just to get to the bathroom, but the guys are generally good looking, so maybe you won't mind too much? Not the end-all be-all of clubs, but a good one.
