Dare I say consistently the best gay bar in LA

They keep it fun! Though they do different promotions, it always seems kinda like the same bar. Which is good! Narrow bar. In 10 years I think I have only had 1 or 2 bad nights there. Typically the music is the best mix of new, old, classics, pop, rock, all over the place but FUN. Great crowd, and good looking. Random things like free shots during the next song, lights out with staff flashing flashlights, throwing wads of napkins over the crowd, upstairs bar with dirty gogo dancer, random drink specials, keeps things fun. When there is a cover it's never more than $5. Lights are kept low for fun sexy atmosphere. Yes, have had some moments here!

Thursday night BFD

Thanks to ScottCalvin and other reviewers here for prompting me to write this. I was at BFD last night (5-20-10). I had forgotten how fun this night is and what they get away with (in a good way). Too bad it's on a school/work night. Doesn't seem to bother most. I wished I could have stayed later to see who won the "contest" but had to get home. Lesson learned, take a nap after work and show up there around 11 p.m. when the fun begins. Don't forget that if you "flash" the bartender in back, you get a free shot.

I got here @ 12am on a Sat and it was fun. Really dark and hard to tell if u are flirting with a hottie or a troll. Lol. No shortage of fun here.

Hot hot hot

People are friendly. Good music thursday and saturday nights. Occasionally gets east villiage wild and sloppy in the back. Generously packaged dancers who are very friendly.

Went on a weds which was a girls night, its a small place bt it was pacced, cute gurls, good vibe, music was mixed between hip hop and electro. Would go there again To get me in weekend mode
