Ok but not all the time
So I have been to this spa quite a few times and there isn't always a decent amount of ppl here. One day there was just three ppl in there including myself. Another minus is the floor attendant ( the old Latino) he is super creepy and follows me around asking me to play with him. Otherwise the club is alright when it crowded. Good looking hung business men go ther from around the globe. I met a couple from the uk whose accent was super sexy. So this club is ok at times but not always.
FUN
I went out of curiosity one night while visiting (I didn't do anything) but thought the place was absolutely fun. The crowd was very diverse, young, older. i saw some things I never saw before. One example was I went out to the sundeck it was around 1am and it had to be at least 20 guys all naked, laying on the chairs and chilling, good looking young. There was 2 guys in the middle and one guy had a rope around the guy neck like a dog, and the other guy was having him go around kissing everyones feet, and all types of stuff. it was like a show. I was like omg. The pool they had was crazy bananas on what I saw. but anyway the place was very modern, big, people were friendly, If you go and do decide to particpate in any activities be careful and make wise decisions. The place was nice and im sure you might have a good time..
Enjoyed it
I went mid day on a Sunday and thought it was very relaxing and thrilling at all the right times. My favorite part was the hot tub and the free meal they gave us for July 4th celebration. The staff was really nice and helpful. I wish the crowd were a bit younger but it was still a fun and unique experience!
Not very inviting
For a website that creates the illusion this spa is very inviting to the gay community,my encounter with the staff was anything but.. Traveling with a friend of mine who wanted to visit this spa I wasnt familiar with the area and tried to find out if there was a bar around it to hang out while my friend played here, was informed by the nice person at the front desk" i'm not a directory I don't know what's around here"..very dissappointing considering ALL the places down in the Market St area were very inviting..won't set foot in this pompous arrogant place again for this reason
big surprise in a little package
dont judge a book by its cover so goes the cliche. its true here. the gym bunnies and club boyz may not find this place their cup of tea. but melrose spa is a fun place for regular guys and especially for those who arent stereotypical white anglo saxons. why cant flex learn a lesson here?
