Jamison Karon is a Los Angeles based writer and filmmaker. He received a BFA in Theatre from the University of Arizona in 2012, and has since worked on original content, propelling his sex-positive voice into the American zeitgeist. Jamison is the writer, director, and producer of the narrative web-series and short film Sorry Youâre Sad, as well as the art film Last Night. In 2016, Jamison was inducted as the artist-in-residence at Tom of Finland Foundation, where he published the erotic memoir, How to Be a Faggot. Jamison is currently a screenwriting fellow at the American Film Institute, class of 2019. http://jamisonkaron.info/
Giovanni Ortega is a multi-disciplinary artist and author who took the literary artist category for FPAC Pahayag Project for the most sought after writer with his first book, Leaves from the Silverlake Barrio. A collection of his poetry was also published in Completely Mixed Up. As a playwright, he wrote Criers for Hire, which became the highest grossing world premiere play for East West Players Theater. In 2011, Ortega wrote ALLOS, the story of Carlos Bulosan, which was also commissioned by East West Players. The show has been performed in Chicago, Honolulu, Kampala - Uganda, Styria â Austria, Oregon Shakespeare Festival and at the Haque Centre of Acting and Creativity in Singapore. Additional Works: The Sea, Tug of War, Wayne, Mutyang Kalayaan, Tao Po, Lost in the Margins, and El Pescador y La Lluvia. Nina Rota was born in London and grew up in a small village with three pubs and one visiting nurse who traveled on bicycle. She now lives in Los Angeles up under the Hollywood sign. Her writing can be found in Witness Magazine, Entropy, Red Fez, and Diverse Voices Quarterly, among others. Her award-winning short films have appeared in Getty Museumâs Pacific Standard Time project and Anthology Film Archives. Her artwork has appeared in galleries in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. She appears in LA Woman, a documentary about women artists.
