Been struggling to make your own film? Been thinking about making your own film, but not sure about the next steps? Having a proper blueprint can make all the difference. That blueprint is both a solid script and an achievable production plan, both working to support each other.
Acclaimed independent fIlmmaker and Filmmakers Alliance founder Jacques Thelemaque takes you through an 8-week course focusing primarily on writing for Independent Film, but with equal attention given to the over-all process of creating and distributing an Independent Film. Beyond the penetrating script work, Jacques will discuss the key filmmaking concerns, challenges and solutions facing Independent Filmmakers - and what that means for the script - as well as present dynamic guest speakers - knowledgeable filmmaking veterans - who can provide even deeper insight into the entire filmmaking process.
By the end of the course, filmmakers will not only have a strong, compelling script in hand, but a clear blueprint for getting it made....and seen.
Beginning: Saturday, March 19th and continuing through Saturday, May 7th. Noon until 4 p.m. each Saturday.
Class Fee: $500 per project (writing teams pay a single fee)
Location: Hollywood (remote participation available via internet)
Class size maximum: 12 (total, including remote and live participation)
