Tonight - NEXT LEVEL : Wearable Art + Performance Art

Sign up for mailing list to find out about future events:

NEXT LEVEL is a wearable & performance art showcase curated by Corinne Loperfido. A masked contortionist playing metal guitar solos while standing on one hand, or semi-nude, leather-clad professional hip hop dancers enacting a gut-wrenching exorcism. The results are kinetic, surreal and gripping. This kind of energy infects the audience and keeps bringing people back to the eclectic basement gallery and avant garde shoe store at Pskaufman in Downtown Los Angeles.

2 Performance shows: (same show 2 times) 7pm & 9pm

Wearable artists will be setting up pop up shops of their goods for you to peruse and purchase. Performance artists will each be collaborating with one of the wearable artists and bringing their work to life through dance, music, projections, and movement.

Pskaufman is on the right side of East 8th street between Los Angeles and Main through a big black gated parking lot called Werdin Alley in DTLA. ** Put in "113 E 8th Street" into your GPS ** and when you arrive at Industry LA, walk to the back of the gated parking lot DIRECTLY to the right of Industry and look for the big blue shoe sign, the event is in the basement. There is a $5 parking lot exactly across the street as well as street parking available.

Pskaufman... is a footwear and accessory brand, based under the floorboards of Downtown Los Angeles. Making products that are built to last, their Twisted Classics are handcrafted by passionate artisans using the highest quality leather, as well as recycled tires and inner tubes.
