Pitiful

One word that will sum up my stay at “The San Vicente Inn” in West Hollywood is pitiful. I had some personal property stolen out of my room (an iphone, a Blackberry Storm, debit card and school ID.) Through extortion from an employee, yes that’s right, an employee, and almost a brawl between his friends and mine, I was able to recover my Blackberry and school ID. My iphone and debit card is still at large! The night reminded me of a scene from a bad horror film. After recovering the phone and dealing with the police, I went back to my room to collect what was left of my property. I talked to a manager and asked for a refund, at which he declined. He was very unprofessional in handling the situation, didn’t take any ownership over the claims, and rejected my request. I was asked to call back the next day so that he had time to speak with the owner.

A total mess.

This place only has one thing going for it and that "location". It is just 1/2 block from Santa Monica Blvd. and you can walk to all the bars. The place is a total mess, dirty, not safe to stay there. Staff doesn't have a clue what is going on. Pool area, rooms, public areas are all a total mess. Goodwill wouldn't even take their furniture. This place is BAD. Just read the other reviews and take heed.

Not worth trying

I have stayed in this resort for about 5-6 times in the past 2 years. Each time when I return there, I would hope the never ending renovation would end. Instead of lifting the place, the renovation tears the place apart. There is no phone in the rooms any more, furniture is getting less & basic, yet they charge you top $. It is supposed to be a gay clothing optional resort, but women can be seen everywhere, leaving no privacy for the tenants. More than once, the place was rented out to shoot pornos, with actor & actresses "acting" in public, how intrusive! This place is so run down that I have decided not to return there any more. Save your $ & spend it on the Ramada Weho.
