if the hollywood spa doesnt do it for you, go to melrose. if that doesnt work stay home. do you really need to be that discrete in LA? half the guys at the farmers market are gay.

Nice decor, but don't believe the website....

Visited here one afternoon to kill some time between hotel kicking out time and flight departure. The club is on a street that hosts a farmers market on a sunday afternoon so not the most discrete place for getting into & out of! Inside, the decor is quite eye catching - the food in the cafe is OK as well. They also state that the staff are forbidden from playing with the clients while on duty - another joke, there was one mexican guy who worked there who just would not leave me alone. The place was not busy. There were a couple of hot guys in there but it was certainly not very happening. Overall impression - nice location and venue but could really do with some better management.

Best bathhouse in LA

The best bathhouse in California - easily the best bathhouse in LA. Why? They allow you to smoke inside your room. Cheers to Hollywood Spa for being the one place left in California where you can be an American and have a wild and crazy time and actually be able to smoke a cigarette afterwards! I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about, but this is the bathhouse where all the very serious hardcore shit goes down BEHIND closed doors, it's not a let's do it in the open exibitionist spot like flex or midtowne can be. As a result of the privacy, much hotter guys go to the Hollywood spa compared with the others. You get to do what you want to do, in private, and you don't have to constantly worry about your exploits being caught on tape and uploaded to the Internet like at other places.

hmmm. what to say, it's beautiful.. but no action

I have to say that on entering this place.. it's remarkable.. nice little cafe.. grand staircase.. but it's ALL stand and model and no action. What action that happens seems to be behind closed doors. I love to watch.. and there wasn't much to see. I've given this place several tries.. and i'm youngish.. and when I first went.. I was in my 20's.. and in good shape.. for my money.. I'll head to the zone.. and I still miss Basic Plumbing
