my favorite!

I always have lots of fun when I come here. Exotic mix of men. Some are in good shape, some out of shape, so everyone can find something they like. Every room has a TV, something you won't find often. The only complain I'd have is that video room always has some of TVs not working. But overall I'd recommend it and just don't keep you hope up, you're not gonna meet there a models but they have plenty of dick and ass :)

Diversity

I usually have the most fun on their discount Tuesdays. It is the busiest day of the week and the best chance of hooking up with someone.

Not bad

I joined GayCities just so I could give what I hope is a more balanced review than many I've seen here. I was visiting L.A. and came to Midtowne Spa on a Sunday afternoon. Timing seems to be key at any bathhouse, but in my experience the best fucks come from going at some of the seemingly unlikeliest of times. And Sunday afternoons seem to be a best bet. It certainly was at Midtowne Spa, where, when I arrived, there was a line literally spilling out onto the street. Granted, there wasn't a single guy in the line, all of whom were far too old for me, that I would have wanted, and the guy at the front of the line held us all up for what felt like ten minutes for no discernibly good reason. That said, this was the largest bathhouse I had ever been to, with four floors to roam around in: a basement floor where most of the nasty action I go looking for tended to be happening; steam room, jacuzzi and pool on the ground floor (which was not crowded but well used while I was there); and two floors full of rentable rooms above. Even above that is a fifth area on the roof where nude sunbathing can be found/done. And, let's be clear, the place was HOPPING while I was there, and the vast majority of them were guys that did nothing for me -- in most cases because they were too old, too fat, or both. But guess what? When the place is that busy, you'll inevitably find someone to your tastes, and I did. Twice. I found a nice svelte guy to fuck a while in one of the basement maze compartments with a locking door. Very soon after, I found another guy to fuck me and it was one of the best fucks I've ever had. I like to go where there's a lot of action going on. I like to watch and be watched -- or at least heard. The basement floor here provided all this for me. Now, to be honest, I did jizz all over the floor so someone later probably stepped in it. I've stepped in it other times too so I guess what goes around cums around. I wasn't all that fond of the steam room. I tried to sit on one of the benches and an apparent heater right behind my legs made me feel like my skin was getting seared off. The entire steam room space otherwise wasn't really conducive to the action I've seen in steam rooms at other bathhouses, especially in Seattle. If I had my way, I'd find a bathhouse that had sexy-low lighting but was still light enough to be able to see who/what is groping you. I haven't found that anywhere else and didn't really find it here. But maybe that's just wishful thinking. In any event, in a place like this, which isn't spectacular but itsn't bad at all, it's not hard to find a decent piece of ass or a nice cock to get off with, even though you have two swim upstream through a sea of cellulite and wrinkles. Persistence pays, and the $24 I spent here was worth every penny.

Disappointing

I went to the Midtowne spa for the first time on Thursday, August 2nd for the first time. There was a live j.o. show featuring Spencer Whitman, who was very nice to all the guys packed into the tiny "theater" space. Midtowne Los Angeles is a very dated club, and everything feels circa 1980's. There is a very dark basement area that has lots of places to play. The first floor is where the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are located. The pool is large, but no one was in it. There is also two small outdoor areas adjacent to the pool. Although the jacuzzi/pool room is a newer addition, the exposed brick makes everything feel old. The second floor has a video lounge where benches face each other, and not the monitors. Watching one of the four screens (only 3 were working the night I was there) leaves you with a cramped neck. There is also the "theater" space which is otherwise empty, and a bunch of rooms. The layout is more like a hostel than a bath. The third floor has more rooms, and the sun deck has a small maze in the back. There were guys smoking pot up there, but that is about all. The whole club has really bad lighting. Some areas are to bright, and others way to dark. There is also no mood lighting to facilitate sexuality. It's all rather boring. Midtowne also has some very odd smells, very musty and damp. The staff was nice, and the $4 adjacent parking lot is great, especially if you plan on staying past 1a.m., because that's when street parking is prohibited. Unfortunately, the cliental leaves much to be desired. Midtowne L.A. draws an older out of shape crowd. Other than Spencer Whitman, there was not one guy I would touch, and no one around my age (mid 20's). The predominant ethnicities are Latino and Black. I'm not into either, so Midtowne was a complete waste of time and money. It's also in a fairly bad area known as the warehouse district of downtown Los Angeles. Lots of homeless drug addicts line the streets leading up to Kohler. The place has potential, but it needs a serious face lift and it needs to start attracting hot younger guys as well as White guys in general. I won't go back, especially since there are far better sex clubs in Los Angeles than this.

Omg!! I haven't been here in Forever!! Since I got into a Serious, Monogamous relationship, but it's the Best Place to go when you want to Have a Good Fuck! And release some Stress. A real Great Place to meet Men and Have Amazing Sex! With Strangers. I use to Sun tan on the Roof, Butt Naked! and Men would come and Rub Oil on My Nice Dark Brown Skin, I'm Latin, 22yrs old. So I would Find my Self Attractive White Men and I loved the way they would realy, realy enjoyed having a Brown Boy Body riding them and the way they would kinda, I will say worship My Dark skin tone Body.hehe.. It was Nice. They would take me either to their rooms to get their way with Me or I would ask them to Fuck! Me in my 2 Fave spots, in that Bed with Bars and in the Dark Dungeon Room, so EVERYONE could see my brown Hole be handled By White Meat! I loved being watched.:) The Staff was Nice, place was Clean and above all a real Fun Place to be.
