  very clean / bad part of town
  The facility itself is an a less than desirable part of town, but they do have a parking garage, or free street parking. The facility was very clean, and the people were friendly. This is a bath house, not a five star hotel, so previous reviews that trash it as anything but a bathhouse, is stupid.

  If you're into old men, migrant or undocumented types or fat dudes, this is the place to come. If you're into the typical gay stereotype of good looking, gym bodies that take care of themselves and/or are young, then I'd hate to burst your bubble, but you won't find them here. Good looking gay men in LA don't seem to go to saunas. They're too above that and they don't want to come off as sluts, even though most of them are. Don't waste your time here. This place is for those who enjoy having anonymous sex with fat, unattractive guys. If this is your cup of tea, then rock on!

  Awesome first bathhouse experience !!!
  Although this was my first bathhouse experience I must say Midtowne Spa exceeded my expectations. The location and outer appearance was a little sketchy but it works in it's favor. Everything just felt authentic. The whole place was VERY clean. There were a mix of guys both young and old. You can definitely find your type of guy if you look for a bit. I felt very safe and everyone was respectful and I never once felt uncomfortable. It is a little disorienting at first but once you let loose you can really enjoy everything. I would recommend you bring flip flops and plenty of water.

  The Midtowne offers a lot. There are three floors plus a basement and a sun deck. On the first floor, you will find a sauna, a steam room, a Jacuzzi, and a large swimming pool. On the second and third floors, there are individual rooms with bed and TV showing a variety of porn. The second floor includes a video rooms showing four screens of porn. Another room has glory hole booths, and a large bed. There are showers on each floor. The basement has a small porn theater and several glory hole cubicles. The Midtowne has a number of special nights (check the website) and on Sunday a free lunch is served. Personally, I always get a private room so that I can lie on my stomach waiting for an eager top to come along. You also have the option of getting a locker. Besides the facilities, the best part of the Midtowne is that it is large and has many men to play with. For those you might be interested, there are larger deluxe rooms with a sling. The patrons of this bathhouse include a wide variety of guys (thin/fat, young/old, White/Black/Asian/Latino). If there is space, you can parked on the street. For added safety, the Midtowne has its own parking lot (small fee).

  Fun Place to Play
  There is a wide range of races, but mostly middle-aged. The facilities are pretty clean and well taken care of. The basement was a little hard to navigate through since it was so dark. It would a lot better if they put glow-in-the-dark paint on the walls or around the glory holes. The darkroom on the second floor was fun. They had stalls with glory holes and a small stage where i assume special shows take place. They also have a lounge with vending machines and a tv with a movies playing. The second and third floors have rooms people rent and fuck in. While fucking a guy in his room, we left the door open so other guys could watch. The maze on the roof was fun. When I was checked it out for the first time, I stumbled across a guy with dildo up his ass and jerking off. I asked if i could watch and we ended up fucking. A really nice thing about Midtowne is that they have bowls of condoms on each floor, so safety is not an issue. Also, there are restrooms on each floor with showers. Next time I hope to catch one of their strip shows.

  I started out at 1350 club as I do most Wednesday's about 6p. I left well in to that 2 ND 6hr fun cycle at 2a. I did not leave early because there was a shortage of fun, adventurous, male players. It occurred to me that I had not seen my wallet. ++++ Awesome treatment begins when I'm outside searching my truck for the wallet when the security guard comes across the street with flash light to ask was I OK. I let him know my concern about my wallet. He offers to escort me back into that club to my room to look, was not there. He asked the night manager, who has never been anything but professional, and easy-going. He says sure. All that said when I got home to find the wallet on my bed, I called to club to let them know. The manager tells me, well thank God. I registered here at gay cities because at some point I wanted to post a good review about that, the stellar I receive, and to let you all know that EVERY staff member there provokes my fun thoughts, and those considerate acts are displayed.   Not as much action as Slammers, but the facility really nice and I like the secured parking garage. Quite a large range of size/ages/races, which is fine with me. the TV rooms aren't terribly conducive to fooling around so most guys cruise up and down the main hallways or stand outside their rooms. The basement is excellent, but it to was slow which was a bit disappointing. Over all well worth it if you have patients and go during peak hours.

  Like another poster, I too made an account to share my awesome experience with this facility. I was a bathhouse virgin when I came to Midtowne. From the outside it looks like a factory but once you step inside, its amazing. I went on a Tuesday night which are the most popular days to go but I hear weekends are just as popular. The facility: The place was decently clean and I never felt grossed out or disgusted at anything. From the showers to the pool to the rooms, everything was descent. I would recommend bringing your own sandals. To be honest, I didn’t have a chance to explore the basement, the rooftop, or the exhibitionist room because I got preoccupied within the first 15 minutes I was there ;) I really like how each floor has a bathroom with a private shower. The lighting was perfect and the music was hot hot hot! No action going on in the steam or sauna rooms. Sex is usually in the rooms upstairs. The Clientele. On the Tuesday I was there, it was a fairly even mix. A lot of whites, blacks, lationos, and Philippinos. The age ranges were a mix. I thought the majority of the clientele were going to be an older, grey crowd but WOW, I was really shocked. A very fair distribution of all ages. A lot of very attractive men and a lot of not attractive men. The one thing that sealed the deal was just how open and non-aggressive everyone was. Everyone. I never felt scared or violated. If an ugly older dude with a cane comes and gropes you, you can just brush him off with your hand and he wont come back. A lot of sexy college dudes and hot daddies everywhere. The uglies were in the minority. The Bad: Allright. Nothing in life is perfect. The ONLY complaints I have is that they should have clean towels on every floor so guys don’t have to trek all the way to the first floor for new towels. Also, I don’t think the club does enough to promote safe sex. They give you one condom when you walk in and insist you buy your own lube. IN CONCLUSION, I fell in love with this place because it’s discreet, the mix of sexy men, the friendliness of the patrons, and just the general fun time I had here. Will I come back? Of course, but only on Tuesdays or Weekends. Like I said, it’s a really fun place with a ton of hot people to choose from. I would pick Midtowne over Grindr any day.
